Added as a second accession is a set of transcribed letters of Joseph Bulkeley in the United States 1897-1899. It was edited by David Howell.

Joseph Foster account book
This collection consists of the account book (1907-1925) of Joseph Foster of Ithaca, Michigan. Foster worked as a day laborer, but apparently rented or owned a farm as well. He used the book to record a variety of things: his earnings from day labor, contributions toward his pastor's salary, his savings bonds in local banks, and accounts from his own farm.

Joseph Painter Carpenter letter
The Carpenter papers consist of one letter, written by G. Carpenter of Ravenna, Ohio, to his brother, Joseph Painter Carpenter, of Blissfield, Michigan. This letter, dated August 19, 1835, discusses the issues regarding the boundary dispute between Michigan and Ohio in the 1830s.
