Scope and Contents of the Papers The collection consists largely of survey field books, survey maps, and diaries of Roy James Robb. His diaries contain brief notes related to the surveys, which were done in Ingham, Clinton, Barry, Iosco, Mackinac, and other counties in Michigan. Also in the collection are nineteenth century survey papers and field books, which he purchased to use for reference. The Reyes papers (1987-1996) document Reyes’ involvement with the local and nationwide Chicano/Latino movement focusing on labor, leadership training, educational issues, affirmative action, political advancement, and community support programs, the papers include campaign signs, reports, conference materials, meeting files, news articles, flyers, pamphlets, and training manuals. Also included are correspondence files, photographs, campaign labels, and bumper stickers.

The collection consists of a bound, typed, thesis called "The Apple and Its Culture." The thesis covers the history and botany of the apple, location and planting of an orchard, propagation, pruning, cultivation, spraying, diseases, insects, picking, packing, storing, marketing, and varieties. The volume contains a bibliography of the sources Wright used and many pasted pictures and illustrations.
