Pascal James Imperato collection
The Pascal James Imperato collection consists of photocopies of Louis Cheu de Hohnel's "Over Land and Sea in Earlier Times and More Recent Days (1857-1909). Being an Austrian Rear Admiral's Own Narrative of His Life" and a translation of Count Samuel Teleki's personal diary of explorations in East Africa translated into English by Charles and Vera Teleki with correspondence, biographical materials, and publications by Imperato and Geza Teleki on Samuel Teleki's explorations.

Correspondence, notes and some of the documents collected by David Wiley, Anne Ferguson and Bill Derman while working on the African Studies Center's Program on the Lakes of East Africa (PLEA), in collaboration with the Kenyan Marine Fisheries Research Institute (Kisumu), the Malawi Fisheries Research Institute, the Tanzania Fisheries Research Institute (Mwanza), and the Fisheries Research Institute of Uganda (Jinja). PLEA was funded (1992-1998) by the MacArthur Foundation.
