This collection contains a grocery store account book of G. W. Peters of Milford, Oakland County, Michigan. Included in the account book is a diary of the period May 20-July 16, 1891.

Scope and Contents The collection contains material (1936-1941, 1948-1958) pertaining to the operation of Produce Department Incorporated, later Grand Rapids Wholesale Grocery Company. The volumes consist primarily of minutes of Board of Directors' Meetings (August 1936-April 1941 and May 1948-March 1956), which deal with company expenses, profits, operations, personnel changes, business problems and minutes of Annual Meetings of Shareholders (1948-1958).
