Scope and Contents This collection consists of materials relating to social and political issues in Michigan during the World War I era. They include pamphlets circulated by the Michigan Equal Suffrage Association advocating women's suffrage. It also includes pamphlets and sample ballots from the Michigan Anti-Saloon League concerning a proposed "Beer and Wine Amendment" to the state constitution, which would set up protection for the liquor trade.
