Abiel Gerrish papers
The Abiel Gerrish papers include deeds for property owned by Gerrish in Berrien and Van Buren Counties, Michigan, receipts for taxes paid on that property, personal notes of hand for loans Gerrish made, and an official list of all Gerrish's deeds registered in Berrien County.
Benjamin F. Fish papers
This collection contains letters, receipts for taxes and merchandise, property listings, and business agreements reflecting the varied business and property interests of Benjamin F. Fish. Fish was a legal agent and businessman operating in Berrien County, Michigan, and the Chicago area in the 1830s through 1870s. Also included is a graduation announcement from Dowagiac Public Schools for 1879.

This collection contains various documents relating to the Clark Family, especially Josephus Clark, of Branch County, Michigan. It includes tax receipts, deeds, marriage certificates, Josephus Clark's Civil War discharge, and materials dealing with his military pension.
Elisha Cross papers
The Elisha Cross papers include an illustrated physics manual given to Cross in 1832 by John B. Calhoun ("President of the Moulders of the Howell Works Co."). Cross and his daughter, Susan, used the manual for a personal journal, scrapbook and botanical notebook (including plant specimens). The papers also contain a photographic copy of a drawing of the Hance farm and documents related to real estate Cross owned in the Detroit area.
Erastus H. Spalding papers
This collection contains deeds, mortgages, and leases dealing with land and property in Cass and Leelanau Counties, Michigan, owned by the Spalding family of Dowagiac, Cass County.
Three letters addressed to Erastus H. Spalding in the years 1851-1852 discuss the production of flour for the New York market, and property transactions in Michigan. Also included is a memorandum (1849) giving specifications for the alteration of a state road in Cass County.
George Myers papers

Hawley family papers
This collection consists of two deeds for land in Michigan owned by the Hawley family. One is a certificate for register for public lands in Ionia, purchased by Don Hawley and David B. Webster. The second is a quitclaim deed for the transfer of property in Crystal Township, Montcalm County from Lucius Hawley to his wife, Elizabeth C. Hawley.
