Silent moving image outtakes from the 1966 campus life film "Tempo 65-66". Scenes include a jazz quintet performing at an outdoor event, Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey giving the address at the spring 1966 commencement, students protesting the Vietnam war outside the stadium, Water Carnival, and rehearsals for a production of West Side Story.
Winter Commencement: Valedictorian Address; DiBiaggio Handing Out Degrees, 1992-03-14
The video begins with the address (already in progress) being given by Ford Motor Company CEO Harold Poling. Senior class remarks are given by Phyllis Kendrick, and footage concludes with President John A. DiBiaggio conferring baccalaureate degrees.
The ceremony takes place in the Breslin Student Events Center Arena, East Lansing, Michigan.
