The Lyman Briggs collection contains publications, correspondence, and articles written by Lyman Briggs. Also included is memorabilia including identification cards and passes, invitations, and Michigan State University memorabilia.
Mable A. Babion collection
This collection consists of handwritten recipes, school essays and clippings of home remedies. It also includes two ledgers: the first contains the accounts of the Dykeman's station (on the New York Central Railroad) in 1869-1870, the second records household expenses and recipes for an unidentified family (1868).
Major Allison K. Thomas collection
The Allison K. Thomas collection contains photographs, correspondence, books, magazines, and articles. Thomas served in Vietnam with Ho Chi Minh and helped the fight against the Japanese. The materials include correspondence from Giap, articles about Thomas, Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh, photographs of Thomas in Vietnam, excerpts from Thomas, diaries, copy of Thomas' report on Deer Mission, and photographs of Thomas' return to Vietnam in the 1990s.

The Margaret Foster Shadduck collection contains programs, schedules, season tickets for Michigan State University Lecture-Concert Series and World Travel Series from 1968-1981. There are also Michigan State University class of 1926 reunion materials which include photographs and newsletters. Other materials include Shadduck's Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) diploma, graduation hood and a Cooperative Extension Workers creed.
