Scope and Contents The George W. Spinning collection consists of a scrapbook containing images and materials relating to student life at Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University.) Images include campus, classes, dormitory life, Phylean Literary Society hazing, military squads, and athletics. Scope and Contents

The scrapbook contains postcards and photographs depicting campus life at Michigan Agricultural College, with a few scenes of Lansing and Grand Ledge. The photographs are of high quality and in excellent condition. They include scenes of buildings on campus, dorm life, canoeing on the Red Cedar River, and other college activities. The photographs have been indexed in the Photograph catalogue.
