Louis Agassiz letter
The collection consists of a letter (1856) from naturalist Louis Agassiz to zoologist Manly Miles of Flint, Michigan who later taught at Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University). The letter requests information on turtle species in Michigan.

The Louis G. Romano papers contain a letter and a report about the Individually Guided Education program (1970-1974) implemented by the U.S. Department of Defense Schools in Okinawa, Japan. The report includes a description of the program, the teaching staff, photographs as well as information about Okinawa.
