The A. W. Sutton papers contain receipts from Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University) for room and board, subscriptions to "The College Speculum", and enrollment fees from 1881-1883. The collection also contains a few pieces of handwritten poetry as well as quotes.

This includes letters written and photographs taken by Ai and Elizabeth Abbott during their time in Peru, correspondence and journals from Inez Abbott and Ella Snyder during their time in Europe and Bulgaria, and photographs and realia relating to the Chicago Commons Settlement.
