Scope and Contents

This collection contains a 25th anniversary history of the St. John (Catholic) Student Parish at Michigan State University written by Joseph L. Druse, Professor Emeritus, Department of Humanities. The history begins with the founding of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in 1940, and the founding of St. John's in 1957. It touches on social, political, and religious issues over the years 1957-1983. Scope and Contents The Storrs Family Collections consists of MSU photographs and memorabilia from the Storrs family. The material came from Alice Crafts Storrs class of 1915, Delbert E. Storrs class of 1917, and Flora May Storrs Buday class of 1944. Images include class rush and class rivalry, 1915 J-Hop, MAC carnival, rules for 1912 MAC carnival, and the military band on the football field.
