The Latinos in Baseball card collection consists of over 1000 baseball cards, including teams from both the National League and American League as well as a few minor league teams. Publishers represented include Fleer, Donruss, Topps and Score. Some of the notable names in the collection include Roberto Clemente, Manny Ramirez and Mariano Rivera.

The collection consists of 1 box of interview field notes with former baseball players Bill Freehan, Kevin Collins, Reno Bertoia, Jim Northrup, and Willie Horton, baseball coach Don Lund and baseball announcer Ernie Harwell and family members. Also included are family photographs and news clippings. A signed photograph by Hank Aguirre of the illustration for the book jacket is also included as well as a draft manuscript for the book "The Tall Mexican".
