Chicano and Mexican Calendar Art collection
This collection of calendar art consists of materials acquired as a purchase by the MSU Libraries or items separated from the papers of Juana and Jesse Gonzales, Julio Cesar Guerrero and Pedro and Diana Rivera. The items in the collection are as early as 1972 and the bulk in the first decade of 2000.

This folder includes correspondence between Israel Cuellar, Director of the Julian Samora Research Institute and other MSU faculty in regards to a similar Chicano historical calendar researched, designed and previously published by Gonzales. Also included are 2 copies of the calendar titled Lansing Latinos Historical Events 2004 Calendar.
