Papers of George Ellis consist of a scrapbook, college songs, poems written by Ellis, and a line graph Ellis drew showing his salary increases and describing his various engineering jobs from 1907 to 1950. The scrapbook contains photographs of Ellis and his friends, a 1906 Michigan Agricultural College calendar, college songs and yells, and photographs cut from M.A.C. catalogs dating from 1899.

This order has been maintained in the collection, with the exception of the materials on his opera, Legends of Alhambra.
