Spartan Nation publication
The collection contains issues of Spartan Nation Magazine created by Hondo S. Carpenter. The issues contain articles about Michigan State University athletics. Included are paper issues from volume 2 and 3 which are from 2010 and 2011 and electronic versions beginning in 2011.
Stuart N. Dowty and Janet Goldwasser collection
The Stuart N. Dowty and Janet Goldwasser collection consists of radical materials dating between 1960-2004. The material ranges from the Detroit coalition to end the war in Vietnam, the Black Panthers, local communist union, labor unions, draft resistance, and youth culture. The collection includes pamphlets, newspapers, newsletters, leaflets, magazines, and flyers.

The Acorn publication
The collection contains selected issues of The Acorn, a local magazine published by the Three Oaks Publishing Company in Three Oaks, Michigan. The issues contain articles about the activities of the town residents and nearby communities, news from around the state, and farming. There are also articles about the members of the Warren family, Chamberlain family, the Chamberlain Memorial Museum, and history of the town and surrounding area.
The Inside Track collection
The collection consists of five issues of the magazine, The Inside Track. The issues span May 1981 to April 1982. Three issues are from 1981 (Volume 12, Nos. 3-5), and two issues are from 1982 (Volume 13, Nos. 1-2). These magazines cover a wide variety of topics related to Michigan railroading.

The collection consist of the February 5, 1897 issue of Timely Topics. The periodical was edited and published by Henry R. Pattengill in Lansing, Michigan. The periodical bills itself as "weekly nonpartisan news" including "history, science, politics, geography and literature." The contents are national and international in scope except for some of the advertisements which are local in nature.
