Scope and Contents This collection contains press clippings, photographs, correspondence and publications from the history of the Child Development Laboratories. There are also materials dealing with the history of the Laboratory Preschool and Spartan Cooperative Nursery School and the purchase and renovation of the Central School building to house the two programs. Scope and Contents

Records consist of annual reports for the years 1956-1969. Also included is a report on changes in the department's Ph.D. program in 1968, report on the development of a center for the study of the family and the child at Michigan State University from 1968. There are also booklets and flyers from varying dates (1944-1991) and a pamphlet discussing home education (1980).
