Scope and Contents The records of the Office of Planning and Budget contain early accounts, vouchers, receipts and cancelled checks for 1852 to 1924. Of interest are bills for boarding halls, student labor accounts, and bills for equipment. The 1875, 1876 and first part of 1877 vouchers are in order of year, abstract letter, and finally voucher number. This was done as there was no sequence of voucher numbers and in some cases repeats of same number and abstract. Ex. 1-103B, 1-22D. The last half of 1877...

Scope and Contents

Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University) memorabilia includes a class rivalry poster (1915), seven photographs of campus depicting an elk in the campus deer park, a group of people at Lake Lansing, M.A.C. faculty/staff circa 1899-1900, R. H. Pettit in an REO automobile, and A. J. Cook at the campus apiary. There is also one letter (1954), and one newsclipping of Professor R. H. Pettit's obituary.

Scope and Contents The Russell A. Runnells papers contain reprints of published and unpublished scientific articles on animal pathology written by Runnells. A list of Runnells' publications by Runnells and correspondence relating to his professional and student careers are included in this collection. Scope and Content The collection consists of photographs of professors and students from Michigan Agricultural College (M.A.C., now Michigan State University). Edgar Burnett graduated in 1887 and later taught livestock courses. Lyster Dewey graduated 1888 and went with W. J. Beal on the 1888 expedition to survey Michigan's cutover forest. This collection contains information regarding special events at Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University). Her collection of ticket stubs and programs is an exquisite portrayal of the wide array of social events at M.A.C. The collection also contains receipts, sports schedules, class schedules, including the freshman schedule for the Home Economics Course (1917), news clippings, and memos from University President Kedzie pertaining to World War I.
