Biographical Note
Clare Bailey Waldron, of Ionia, Michigan, earned his B.S. degree from Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University) in 1887. While at M.A.C., Waldron was a member and President of the Union Literary Society (Delta Chi Fraternity). He was later a surveyor and draftsman in Duluth, Minnesota (1888-1890), then became employed by North Dakota Agricultural College in Fargo as a Professor of Botany (1890-1892), and Professor of Horticulture and Forestry and Horticulturist in the Experiment Station (1892-?).
