Laminated newspaper articles regarding the founding of the Student Tutorial Education Project I in 1965, highlighted by a speech given by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., February 11, 1965 at Michigan State University as a fundraiser for STEP. These arrangements were facilitated by MSU Professor Robert L. Green, who had returned from a year of leave working with King’s Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Contributed by the Rev.
