Imaginacion y fantasia was one of the most successful short story collections and classroom texts for nearly 50 years. These files contain drafts, associated correspondence, and promotional materials for the initial 1960 edition, revised edition in 1968, fourth, fifth, and sixth editions. According to Yates' wife, Joanne, Yates and Dalbor decided to discontinue revising the text because of the expense for students and the newer versions impacted the used-copy market.
