Floyd M. Barden papers
The Floyd M. Barden papers consist of an oral history interview conducted by Frank Dennis in 1973. Barden discusses fruit farming in South Haven (1850-1900), his experiences while a student at Michigan Agricultural College (1904-1908), and his later interaction with the College, particularly his work with the Cooperative Extension Service (circa 1910-1930). The collection includes an audio cassette and transcription of the interview.
Floyd von Richter collection
This collection contains dance orchestra music in arrangements popular throughout central Michigan in the early 1900s. The collection includes photographs of Floyd von Richter, orchestras and miscellaneous people and also includes sheet music published in Lansing, Michigan by von Richter as well as other composers. There is also included a document showing von Richter's competency in piano tuning and repair.
