The Beryl Williamson papers consist of albums, programs, clippings about Williamson and her skaters, Lansing Skating Club directories, photographs, scrapbooks, audio, films and videos with segments about Williamson.
Many of the albums in the collection contained pages that over time would harm the photographs inside. Where it was appropriate, the pages were photocopied to show arrangement and then the photographs removed from the album. The page number was written on the back of the photo....

This collection contains photocopies of records of the Beta Theta Pi chapter at Michigan State University. There is a copy of the formal petition by Beta Tau to Beta Theta Pi, and their subsequent filing of paperwork to become a nonprofit organization. Also contained are dinner programs, reports on the chapter house reconstruction, and a pledge manual, Son of the Stars. Finally there is a collection of various reports and correspondence by chapter members.

Shapiro's 1982 doctoral dissertation entitled, "Intercollegiate Athletics and Big-Time Sport at Michigan State University: or 'The Difference between Good and Great is a Little Extra Effort.'"
