Content Description

The Abbott family collection includes general and personal correspondence, photographs, scrapbooks, certificates, newspaper clippings, ephemera, and realia. This includes letters written and photographs taken by Ai and Elizabeth Abbott during their time in Peru, correspondence and journals from Inez Abbott and Ella Snyder during their time in Europe and Bulgaria, and photographs and realia relating to the Chicago Commons Settlement.

Carl Wilbur Saldeen collection

The Carl Wilbur Saldeen collection contains a student receipt from 1946. The receipt lists the fees Saldeen paid. The receipt is stamped with "Vet Admin GI" indicating that Saldeen was a veteran attending Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) on the GI bill. Dan Creyts collection

This collection consists of seven film reels and one videocassette of Belgian draft horse footage, some indicating they were shot at horse shows in March 1942 in Lafayette and Indianapolis.
