This collection contains an inventory of farm machinery exhibited at the First and Second Annual Fairs of the Michigan State Agricultural Society in Detroit in 1849 and Ann Arbor in 1850. Also included is a membership card for Stephen Eldred dated 1854.
The Michigan Sugar Company records consist of two bound volumes. The first contains the constitution and by-laws of the company and the minutes of the stockholders' and Board of directors' meetings (1897-1903). The second volume contains newspaper clippings (1897-1902) pertaining to the development of the sugar beet industry in the United States.
This collection contains one account book of N. M. Thomas of Schoolcraft, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, recording prices for agricultural products and labor. The collection also contains brief personal notes, such as descriptions of the weather.
The collection consists of a ledger of farm records which contains a register of students from Michigan State University who visited the farm with their class in the years 1922-1928 and some memoirs which are not dated. Also included are numerous newspaper and magazine articles which describe Parmalee and his farm.
