Farmers Social Club records

This collection consists of three volumes (1877-1901) containing the constitution, bylaws, and minutes of the meetings of the Farmers Social Club of Tecumseh, Michigan. George Dair diary

This collection contains a diary kept by George Dair, supervisor of Joyfield Township, Benzie County, Michigan. The diary deals with rural life in Benzie County. Early entries include information about Michigan weather, traveling routes, purchases of goods, and agricultural activities. The latter part of the diary includes entries of Joyfield Township records dealing with such matters as tax assessment rolls, the township voting count, and township finance.

George Farr autobiography

Scope and Contents This typed copy of George Farr's autobiography, entitled "My Own Life," tells of his childhood on a small farm in Erie County, New York, and his family's migration to Michigan in the 1850s.
