The collection contains published (1916-38) and unpublished (1958-1972) annual reports for the Department of Anatomy. The annual reports of the department of Anatomy provide a general overview of the department's activities, along with specific data on enrollment, faculty activities, and services performed by the department.

There is also correspondence on Frank Chamberlain's "Atlas of Avian Anatomy" (1943).

The collection consists of a variety of records relating to the Dairy Department at Michigan State University. Included are pamphlets and information handouts on various dairy subjects. Also included are records of the Michigan Artificial Breeders Cooperative, Inc. and the Michigan Dairy Herd Improvement Association. There are also scrapbooks showing Dairy Department events as well as folders of photographs.

The collection consists of 11 volumes of Effective Living course syllabi and readings; original minutes of the Basic Education Planning Committee and the Curriculum Committee (March-May, 1944); a “confidential” report of an undated faculty survey relating to the establishment of the Basic College and the Effective Living courses. The collection is arranged chronologically.

The collection also includes unpublished annual reports for 1945-1953.
