The Gumecindo Salas papers (circa 1971-1992) consists of reports, unpublished papers, and news clippings related to Latinos in education including bilingual education and higher education; copies of Senate Resolutions proclaiming Chicano History Week (1981) and a gubernatorial declaration of Hispanic Heritage Week (1985) and a “Sister City Agreement between the Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico and Lansing, Michigan, 1990.”

The Instructional and Public Television records consist of materials related to WMSB-TV and WKAR-TV including press releases, policy, brochures, reports, and program information.
