Scope and Contents

Collection consists of photographs and souvenirs kept by Donald Sayre, a Horticulture alumnus, that were given to the Horticulture Department in the 1970s. The collection includes a student register of names, postcards of campus scenes, photographs of an engineering squad, the Phylean Society members, celebration of Michigan State University's victory over Wabash, and an Ag Council Newsletter from 1956.

Scope and Contents The George W. Spinning collection consists of a scrapbook containing images and materials relating to student life at Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University.) Images include campus, classes, dormitory life, Phylean Literary Society hazing, military squads, and athletics. Scope and Contents The papers of Irving "Happy" Kirshman consist of a scrapbook (1905-1914), programs from Michigan Agricultural College events (1912-1913), and miscellaneous memorabilia (1909-1911). Walter A. Knickerbocker's papers consist of one scrapbook (1913-1916) containing programs and tickets from campus activities; receipts; report cards; newsclippings; photographs of family, friends, and Michigan Agricultural College; and postcards from various Michigan cities such as Flint, Pontiac, Mt. Pleasant, Alma, St. Charles, and Port Huron as well as El Paso, Texas, and Mexico. Also included are programs, receipts and miscellaneous memorabilia from M.A.C.
