Scope and Contents
The I CAN Programmatic Research and Demonstration Project was designed to develop, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of a performance-based K-12 physical education curriculum and instructional system for students with disabilities. The I CAN Curriculum and Instructional System were designed to: I - Individualize Instruction; C - Create Social Leisure Competence; A - Associate All Learning; N - Narrow the Gap Between Theory and Practice. This film was designed for instructors in the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (now the Department of Kinesiology).
