Among agenda items are recruiting law enforcement officers, Latino principals,scholarship, candidate forums and meeting with agencies whose decisions impact the quality of Latino life in the capitol area region.

The report was supported by Dr. Carl Candoli and the Lansing Board of Education and is accompanied by a 2003 letter from Dr. Villarreal to the director of JSRI. The study was conducted in Pattengill Junior High and Eastern High School with significant Chicano/Latino student enrollment. Villarreal speaks to the gender bias in the study. Included is a copy of the report with a letter to Provost Lou Anna K. Simon from Villarreal.
