Frank D. Noggle papers
This collection consists of a mimeographed copy of a history of Galien, Berrien County, Michigan, compiled by Frank D. Noggle. The history describes early industries, education, railroading, land use and development in the period 1828-1879. It also includes biographical sketches of some early settlers. In addition, Noggle discusses the local Pottawatomi Indians, who reluctantly gave up their land rights in 1833 and were finally expelled from the area in 1838.
Jethro O. Veatch collection
This collection consists of a 1953 published work by Veatch, soil survey maps, a reprint of a soil profiles paper, list of Ginseng growers (1905), and Michigan Ginseng Growers convention proceedings (1905). The book contains sections on physical divisions, types of soil, types of vegetation, land types, land use, and possibilities for agricultural production and includes a foldout Michigan Soil Association map. Many of the soil survey maps were produced by or with assistance of Veatch.

Kristina Ford papers
The Kristina Ford papers contain multiple edited drafts of "The Trouble with City Planning," with annotations from her husband, author Richard Ford. Also included is a Michigan State University Spring 2018 commencement program and transcript of Ford's speech given during the graduation ceremony. Also included in the collection are two videocassettes: "City Planning Commission Overview Presentation" and Interview on WDSU, 1/9/00.

Lee Roy A. Schoenmann papers
The Lee Roy Schoenmann papers include papers and speeches written by Schoenmann, as well as speeches given on radio broadcasts. The topics covered in the collection mostly cover problems of conservation, land use and soil conservation, particularly in Michigan. A few papers by other authors are also contained in the collection. Some of the papers in the collection have more than one copy. Usually, these are a first draft and a revision.

This collection consists of a copy of a report by Paul J. Rood, entitled "An Analysis of Land Use and Soil Fertility Factors in Michigan by Counties." The report contains primarily statistical information. Also included is a photograph of Rood.
