Ellen Mathews collection
This collection consists of one handwritten notary register (1579-1582) and two letters (1848) from notaries. The specific contents of the register are unknown because of the difficulty in translating its classical French style. Two faculty members who have dealt with such writings have been consulted, but neither could translate the document.
Ellen Moore papers
The collection contains two binders of policies, minutes, reports, and notes relating to the Women's Inter-Residence Council (WIC). The materials have been taken out of the binders and put into folders, keeping the original order of the binders. In addition to information about the Women's Inter-Residence Council, there is also some information relating to the Men's Hall Association, Residence Halls, and Student Government at Michigan State University.
