Henderson Stock Company records

Scope and Contents The Henderson Stock Company was the longest running traveling repertory theatre company in Michigan. Founded in Otsego, Michigan in 1898 by Richard Henderson, the company toured theatres and opera houses throughout the mid-west and the east coast until 1991. Spanning the late 1890's to the 1950's, the collection consists of over 200 photographs, theatre business papers, account books, some personal correspondence, a memoir, some original handwritten scripts and over 230 copies of typed...

James T. Anderson collection

Scope and Contents

The collection consists of glass plate negatives depicting an unidentified family at home and contains images of the family members posing at various places around the home. The images may be of Professor Rufus Hiram Pettit's family. He is not pictured but his name was written on the original box. There are also 2 pictures of the cast of a theatrical performance.

Margaret Shadduck Foster papers

Scope and Contents

The Margaret Foster Shadduck collection contains programs, schedules, season tickets for Michigan State University Lecture-Concert Series and World Travel Series from 1968-1981. There are also Michigan State University class of 1926 reunion materials which include photographs and newsletters. Other materials include Shadduck's Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) diploma, graduation hood and a Cooperative Extension Workers creed.

Norman Penlington papers

Scope and Contents The collection consists of fifteen manuscript maps drawn by Penlington relating to his research on the Alaska, British Columbia and Yukon Territory Boundary Dispute, 1884-1903. Also included are 10 printed (negative) maps of Alaskan boundaries at the end of the nineteenth century.
