Lillie Lauretta Gragg collection
The Lillie Lauretta Gragg collection contains a pdf of photocopy of the reminiscences of Lillie Lauretta Shaw Gragg. She describes in her childhood and adult life. Also included is a transcription of the reminscences. The reminiscences are available in both digital and phyiscal forms. The reminiscences appeared in the Sunfield Sentinel from 2018-2019.

Manuel McCormick diary
The collection includes the diary of Manuel McCormick of Lenawee County, Michigan. The entries describe his experiences, troop movements, and battles through the southern United States, particularly Tennessee, while a soldier during the American Civil War, from January 1863 through July 1864.
Mary Taylor Hale correspondence
The bulk of the correspondence was written by friends and relatives in Michigan and California in the period 1864-1880 to Mary Taylor, later Mrs. Richard Hale, a school teacher residing in Milford, Michigan
In addition to education and the problems of teaching, such topics as the Civil War, the draft, election politics, and farming activities are discussed.
Also included are the courtship letters (1842) of John Taylor of Milford and Jane Wark of New York City.

This collection consists of a copy of a recording, made in the summer of 1951, of Melvin Smith recounting early farming in Lapeer County, Michigan. Of interest is the account of the use of oxen.

Michigan State Agricultural Society collection
This collection contains an inventory of farm machinery exhibited at the First and Second Annual Fairs of the Michigan State Agricultural Society in Detroit in 1849 and Ann Arbor in 1850. Also included is a membership card for Stephen Eldred dated 1854.
