Scope and Content

The collection contains newsletters from 2007-2008 with information regarding meetings and banquets in the area both past and present that are relevant to the culinary arts as well as recipes and words from the organization's president. There are also two programs from "TasteFest" 2007 and an awards banquet in 2008.

Scope and Contents These office records cover the years 1954 to 1964 and contain correspondence, reports, information about committee memberships and activities, newspaper clippings, publications, promotional materials (posters, slides, records, etc.), information about awards and other activities relating to Michigan Week. Scope and Contents This collection consists mainly of Towne’s correspondence, articles, and speeches. Also included in the collection are documents and correspondence concerning the estate of Annie L. Towne, his mother, and the papers of his wife, Katherine Doyle Towne. The East Lansing Kiwanis Club records consist of general correspondence (1957-1971), weekly news bulletins (1955-1987), financial records (1956-1964; 1967-1970), and materials relating to the club's 20th Anniversary (1970) and to the projects listed above. Other materials include booklets and printed material on Kiwanis international, reports and convention programs of the Michigan district, and a scrapbook.

Scope and Contents The bulk of the materials documents the M-SAR's activities during the first two decades of the 20th century as well as the period from 1945 to 1962. The MSU Business Women’s Association Records consists of materials ranging from the 1930s to 2009, including event information for the Club's annual Bosses Luncheon, Insititute, and Changing of the Guard; association constitution and by-laws; membership lists; club newsletter publications; and President, Officer, Committee, and Historical records.
