Gerald D. Yeomans papers
The Gerald D. Yeomans papers includes a Department of Drawing and Design, Division of Engineering Course 116 A, Sketch and Plan Booklet, from the Winter Term 1930; English Course 102-e, English Themes Composition List, from the Fall Term 1933; Michigan Farm Account Books for 1947-1948, and Vanguard Oats; Farm Account books for 1949, 1951-1952, and 1958; and Michigan State College Farm Income Tax Records for 1953-1957 and 1959-1970.
Hiram Allen and John Patterson farm photographs
The collection contains photographs of the John Patterson farm which was bought from Hiram Allen in 1908. Photographs include the house circa 1908 and 1961, the barn, and an image of horses harnessed to a buggy. The photographs include notes on the back explaining the photos.
Hiram Moore collection
This collection consists of letters, articles, newspaper clippings, and biographical notes of Hiram Moore (1801-1875), one of the first to invent a wheat thresher.
The letters, articles, and newspaper clippings discuss the origin of the combine, which is mired in controversy, as well as its history and mechanical makeup. Also included is a letter extending Moore's patent.
