Technical records consist primarily of information on hydraulic systems, also some on agriculture and various African countries. Also includes a few workshop and colloquium records, and records for the U.S. Agency for International Development.

The Alton Wheaton papers contain primarily financial records and other forms of inventory that Wheaton took while working on his farm. There is also a small section on some of Wheaton’s community activities, some photographs of said activities, and two books on the Wheaton family genealogy. There are also a number of folders containing deeds and titles to various pieces of land Wheaton owned. There are also catalogs, plans, newsletters and brochures on farm topics.

Also included are financial and funding records, administrative records, and information on Argentina and agriculture.
Arthur Carmichel papers
This collection consists of three letters from Arthur Carmichel to family members in Virginia, discussing family matters as well as agriculture in Virginia. One letter (1814) mentions the results of a battle won by American forces in the War of 1812.
Avery family papers
This collection contains family correspondence between members of the Avery family, including C. S. and Ellen Avery of Bucks Flat, California, and Edward Avery of Fort Junction, Iowa. The letters are primarily concerned with family matters, though C. S. Avery's letters also discuss agriculture in California. The collection also contains receipts and a deed for Sarah Avery of Three Oaks, Michigan.
