Thomas H. Osgood papers
This collection consists of a cassette recording of a speech by Thomas H. Osgood (physicist) concerning his years with Ernest Rutherford as a research assistant, 1923-1925. The tape also contains an introduction on Osgood's academic career by Richard Schlegel. The recording was made on June 1, 1978.

The collection also includes an undated paper by W. B. Brookover entitled "The Role of the University in the American Community."

The William D. Baten papers consist of reports and articles written by Baten about mathematics and statistics. There are also articles that relate to statistics and agriculture including topics on corn, weather, spore measurements, fertilizer, sugar beets, milk, potatoes, and surface area of fruits. There are also reports related to statistics and home economics. The reports are arranged alphabetically by title with multiple reports per folder.
