The collection consists of photocopies of pages from the Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) yearbook, the Wolverine, from 1939, 1940, 1941 and 1942 that have handwritten dates of death for some students. Also included is play information from football games. The dates of the games are unknown but they are from a MSC vs. Wayne game and a MSC vs. University of Michigan game. There are also sheets that list the positions of the players.
The collection contains one issue of the publication MSU Retrospect from Winter 1978. The issue includes articles on Earvin "Magic" Johnson, the MSU basketball team from 1977-1978, the women's basketball team, and other articles about campus.
The collection contains the June 1981 issue of Neoture, which contains photographs of art pieces and the name of the artist who produced them.
The Oats publication collection contains six issues. The issues contain short stories and poetry. Oats was "the literary magazine for MSU undergraduates."
The collection contains one issue of Obatala: New Arts Review from April 1974. The issue contains poetry, graphic art, fiction, and articles on music and musicians.
The Rather Rumor issue includes activities relative to the dorm, such as "Sparticade," General Council proceedings, and a monthly review of the inter-precinct sports competitions. The Rather Review issues contain updates on the activities from each floor in Rather, general dormitory living, and classified advertisements.
The collection contains two issues of Spectator- A Collegiate Weekly. The issues contain articles on campus news, politics, and articles on the arts and fiction. One article of note is by Governor Frank Murphy on the benefits of a college education.
