David L. Friday papers
The David L. Friday papers consist primarily of lecture correspondence. There are also a set of financial records (mostly undated) that might pertain to Friday's tenure at the University of Michigan, some telegrams and newsclippings, legislative material, and Friday's working papers.

The collection contains unpublished annual reports for the academic years 1958-1959 through 1968-1969. They contain information on accomplishments and goals of the department, faculty research, enrollment changes, and meetings and conferences attended by faculty.
Department of Aerospace Studies records
The annual reports of the Aerospace Studies Department contain enrollment statistics, staff changes, reports of extra curricular activities, budgetary information, listings of commissions, and information about the facilities of the department. The 1963 report also contains a draft and the final copy of a study entitled "Who Takes ROTC at Michigan State?" by John M. Engebresten, Gordon W. Paul, and Edward P. Ozybko.

Department of Biochemistry records
The Biochemistry Department collection includes issues of department newsletters, informational pamphlets for prospective students, a 1962 proposal to the National Science Foundation for funds to build “new facilities for graduate training and research in biochemistry,” an a program for an undergraduate degree in the field of biochemistry.
The collection also includes unpublished annual reports for 1960-1972.
