This collection contains Langdon's reminiscences, entitled "It Happened Along the Way," collected on his 84th birthday in 1974. This collection consists of a partial copy of "John Hamilton, yeoman of Concord; sketches of ten generations of one branch of the Hamilton family in America, 1658-1958." The genealogy, prepared by Charles Walter Hamilton, also includes biographical sketches of several family members who settled in Michigan in the 1860s and 1870s. Over half the original pages are missing from this copy.

The Edward G. Read papers contain materials related to Read, his wife, children, and relatives. Included are personal and business correspondence, recipe books, pamphlets, cards, and publications. The family papers series has a four volume set titled The Peak - Peake Family History by Cyrus Peak.
